Work in Progress, Wednesday 28th November 2012

The main project this week was the blue sparkle jumper because there is a deadline. It is now completed to the neckband and seaming the sides and sleeves.

When attending knitting groups I opted for something simple and continued with the summer jumper.

The monthly Sunday knitting group was more chatter than knit, especially as we will not meet again before Christmas and had our annual bring and share lunch. The Tuesday knitting group, although depleted in number this week, was also much chatter. Simple stitch structures, like stocking stitch, lend themselves to such environments.

Nothing done to the dolman or the polo neck. The large (400g) ball and the cone were too cumbersome to lug around. The dolman will continue after the blue glitter is finished.

Everything else is still relegated to UFOs.

  1. your sparkle is looking lovely, I'm sure it will look wonderful on. Hope you are going somewhere special in it

  2. Thank you Sue. It's to wear in the evenings when we go on our winter break. Will probably wear it for the Craft Group Christmas lunch. I am always cold and would wear a jumper anyway.
