Craft Club Knitalong and Craft Club Training

Craft Club is a Crafts Council initiative to introduce young people to craft. Training sessions are provided for volunteers to take craft to young people - schools, after school clubs, youth centres, and so on. After our  training my friend Frances and I took Hand Knitting into Fusion, school holiday activities from aged 8 to 18, under the Craft Club "Knit one, pass it on" scheme. This has proved to be very successful.

The Craft Club is holding two events in the near future. The information about both has been 'cut and paste' from the Craft Action Network (CAN) website. http://www.craft-action.org.uk/

Craft Club is running this inspiring and informative training day. The day is FREE of charge and is for competent knitters, crochers and craftspeople who wish to set up clubs. You will spend the day finding out about Craft Club, how to set up a club and how we can support you. You’ll also hear some inspirational talks, meet new people and do some making.
